The zymtrace profiler agent collects telemetry data related to its own performance and operation. This data includes performance metrics, operational statistics, and technical diagnostic information. The telemetry data is transmitted to our hosted analytics platform for the following purposes:

  • To enhance the performance and reliability of the profiler agent.
  • To assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • To improve the functionality and features of zymtrace.

As a user, you have the ability to configure or disable telemetry data collection in accordance with your organization's policies.

Customer Application Data

zymtrace operates solely within your environment. We do not access or collect your application code, configurations, or any application data. All Customer Application Data, including source code and configurations, remains entirely within your own infrastructure and under your control. zystem does not store, process, or have access to any such data.

Data Security

While you are responsible for securing your on-premise deployment of zymtrace, including managing access controls and protecting your application data, we take several measures to safeguard the telemetry data transmitted to our analytics platform. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data both in transit and at rest to protect sensitive information.
  • Secure access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel can access the data.
  • Regular security audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Adherence to industry-standard security practices to maintain a secure platform.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your data, though the responsibility for securing your environment remains with your organization.

Data Retention

All data within your environment is retained according to your organization's policies and requirements.

We retain telemetry data for up to 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting privacy[at]zystem.io.

Data Sharing and Business Terms

We may share telemetry data with trusted Business Partners who assist us in:

  • Operating our analytics platform
  • Conducting our business
  • Servicing our customers

These partners have agreed to keep this information confidential and use it only for specified purposes.
